Participants: 13 musicians from DIVA's Traditional Korean Percussion Band, 16 members from DIVA'S Women's Association, and 4 other volunteers

Actions Taken: Sheaf Burning was carried out by DIVA in order to celebrate the first full moon day of New Year following performances of Gilnoree, Pangud, and Jisinbalpgi in the field adjacent to the grand sports field of Daesoon Jinrihoe. Some 1,000 of local residents and members of Daesoon Jinrihoe took part in the event. Korean folk games such as flying kites, playing yut, and kicking a shuttlecock had also been enjoyed by attendees before Sheaf Burning and delicious snacks were offered during the event, which increased the amusement of all participants. Everyone there wished their cherished families and friends could be blessed with happiness and health in the New Year.
