Daejin International Volunteers Association DIVA
Daejin International Volunteers Association is an affiliated body of Daesoonjinrihoe which is the biggest Korean ethnic religious organization and has its three major works: Charity Aid, Social Welfare and Education.
DIVA is dedicating itself to one of the three major works, the Charity Aid. Being aware that Salvation by faith is the quintessence of religion and its realization is to aid and relieve the society, DIVA is making endless efforts in many fields to do charities for the underprivileged and lead them to the joy of rehabilitation in order to build a sound society.
The newly born Daejin International Volunteers Association as an NGO was launched on August 1st, 2013 and was selected as an outstanding volunteering organization of the year of 2014 in Gyeonggi Province and chosen as a designated donation body by Ministry of Strategy and Finance and in June, 2016, registered as an NGO in Ministry of the Interior to expand and continue the outreach for the underprivileged not only domestically but also internationally.

In conformity with the teaching of Sangjenim (the supreme God of the Heaven), Daejin International Volunteers Association has contributed to building infrastructure of volunteering and forming new culture of that in Yeoju city along with volunteers of Yeoju Headquarters temple of Daesoonjinrihoe.
Daejin International Volunteers Association belongs to Yeoju Headquarters temple of Daesoonjinrihoe. Daesoonjinrihoe has been promoting Charity Aid, Social Welfare and Education as the three major works of its own. Charity Aid of them includes the relief of sufferers, helping out the disadvantaged (orphans, the sick, the elderly and infirm, the poor) and so on. All of the efforts are aiming to philanthropize and aid the underprivileged who are prone to be shunned and help them feel the joy of rehabilitation. 
It is said that volunteering is the best way to enhance empathy.
Empathy is a belief that you are not alone and can be helped by someone when in need, which makes our society more liveable.
Daejin International Volunteers Association will be sure to give positive support for and design projects that encourage voluntary participation for improvement of our society as the atmosphere to highly appreciate the value of volunteering ripens.

A worthwhile life starts with the mind of promoting the betterment of others.
There is the word of Sangje that the things we do is to promote the betterment of others in Jeongyeong. We urge you to look around your neighbors in need and turn all your efforts to helping them out for the world of affection, consideration and sharing.
Daejin International Volunteers Association will do the best possible to build a community where people maintain good relationships with their neighbors and share both joy and grief in life, caring for unfortunate neighbors through volunteering.
From now on, DIVA will do the best possible to diffuse the mature volunteering culture, propose a new direction of volunteering, vigorously support volunteering and play the pivotal role in volunteering through taking the lead in developing the local community by sharing and volunteering regardless of generations, social classes and regions.
