The mobile bath vehicle was designed for elderly local residents who have no bath facilities or have difficulties cleaning themselves without assistance. As the vehicle arrived at the village community center, elderly residents who had been waiting for it warmly welcomed volunteers. Some volunteers escorted them to the bath vehicle one by one and helped them bathe and others cleaned up the community center and the surrounding areas. After all the volunteer work was done, volunteers treated the elderly to a meal and presented them with some gifts to celebrate Parents' Day. One of the elderly residents expressed his gratitude with a big smile saying, "I could not be happier to have received so many favors all at once when even just one favor would have been enough to feel good."

Since May is Family Month, the generosity of DIVA's volunteers working on that day was seen by the elderly citizens as even more impressive and valuable.
